It is our privilege to welcome you to our community through our website. As Co-Headteachers, we are proud to lead such a wonderful organisation that has been a provider of specialist education since 1903. We have a three-acre campus brimming with opportunities to enable learning inside and outside the classroom at every opportunity. Our vision is to enable sensory impaired children and young people to flourish, engage, achieve and be prepared for life as active citizens.

Linden Lodge is a day and residential school specialising in the education of children and young people with visual and multi-sensory impairment from 2-19 years of age. We are committed to all aspects of education and promote the holistic development of each and every student. To realise this, we work in partnership with parents, carers and our student families to support each individual to achieve their full potential.

We are inspirational in our commitment to educating children and young people with sensory impairments. We meet the individual learning needs of our diverse population of students in a positive and supportive learning environment through a departmental model and personalised curriculum pathways. We have a robust interdisciplinary curriculum which is ambitious, broad and balanced. It ensures skills progression and consolidation of learning via multi-sensory and contextualised opportunities. All successes, no matter how small, are celebrated.

We work collaboratively with internal and external professionals to support pupils’ personal development and well-being. Our strength is within our community and commitment to enable all children and young people to be equipped for the best outcomes and the highest quality of life.
